If on the first tab (with block view) there wasn't any data displayed in Grid format, and on the second tab (with block view) there is some data configured for Grid display, the data on the second tab is shown in unformatted list instead of grid. In the same configuration, if there was some Grid data on the first tab, the data displays in Grid on the second tab as well.
Same issue applies for Fluid grid and Masonry formats.

I further discovered that this issue reveals for Quicktabs renderer - 'quicktabs', while for the renderer 'ui_tabs' it works ok.
