Clash with vimeo module

I have logged this as a bug but it may be intentional? I used this module on its own and it works perfectly but as part of a full solution to a client, I decided I would implement the vimeo module too. This way they could upload video to either service and be able to embed the video in a node. When a youtube video link is added when vimeo is enabled, the node display gives the generic movie icon and doesnt embed the video. if I disable the vimeo module then the youtube videos start to work normally.

Could you confirm if this is a bug or intentional behaviour
