View displaying contents of current user and followed users ordered by creation date

Hi all!
This is my situation:
There are users that can follow other users (with a flag).
On each user home page I want to display the content published by the followed users plus the current user's content, all ordered by creation date.
The problem is that I don't know how to put these two data in the same view.
I have put the follow flag as relation and checked "Include only flagged content", in order to show the content of followed users. But doing so, I can't find a way to show also the current user's content.
I've tried to make a first view with followed users' content and an attachment with current user's content, but in this way contents are ordered separately (while I wish to have them ordered together by creation date).
Any idea?
