I get the above error in my logs

Wim LeersI don't see how the CDN module can cause this, AFAICT something is wrong with your setup, if Drupal is unable to find one of its built-in stream wrappers...

public:// works fine everywhere else on the site, but i see many of these in watchdog.
im not using httprl.
