When enabling ajax loading for blocks it hangs on the loading image. Checking the console shows the following:
http://myurl.com/ajaxblocks?_=1395078652460&blocks=block-8&path=node&noc... 404 (Not Found)

any suggestions?

Could you try to disable the module and enable it again?
Do you have 'access content' permission for anonymous users?

I messed around with a number of things, and it started to work. I can't be sure of exactly what fixed the issue, but it's resolved and was probably an edge case related to my setup, so likely nothing that will bother anyone else. Thanks for the reply!
