Hi,

I've tried to disable the search input that's at the bottom of the front page but I can't.

Please can you give me a hint how can I do this?. Actually I don't need the search input and I want to have it off.

This is easier in the new 7.x-2.x build which I encourage you to use if you are just getting started. On 1.x you would go to /admin/structure/context/list/openchurch-all-sitewide/edit and disable the block called 'Search Form' (@see screenshot).
