Styling options other than "plain" not working in latest dev

Upgraded from 7.x-2.0-beta 2 to dev today to get access to https://drupal.org/node/1669934 fix, but now all my tips are showing with the default yellow "plain" styling, and attempting to switch to a different style does no good... see screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/QnLhqcK.png
