Thanks - that helps to see what is most important. Actually, #2226197: Introduce FieldStorageDefinitionInterface in the Entity Field API is a dependency for #1498720: [meta] Make the entity storage system handle changes in the entity and field schema definitions as well, so it's blocking to beta blockers...

Removing the beta blocker tag, since this itself is not actually blocking the beta and we know where to find it. ;) Unlike some other metas where the problem space is not well-defined, issues only make it onto this list once they're already tagged as beta blockers themselves.
