I've had a lot of trouble getting View Menu items to work properly when the View has access settings related to a specific domain. If I have a view page and then assign access to that page to a specific domain the admin can't alter the menu link on a different domain, or say, the IP of the machine. I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug. It was possible to edit the menu links with and admin session on the domain that matched View page access but that is a giant pain with many domains.
I was able to get around this by removing all my View Menu entries (from the view config) and makeing manual Menu entries to the Views and then using domain_menu_access to limit the display of the menu items . HOWEVER I was only able to do this if I REMOVED the domain access settings from the View page because otherwise the admin logged in on a different domain could not create the menu item because the form errored stating that the path was either bad or I (the admin) didn't have access to it.
I don't think this is intential behavior. Hopfully my work around will be helpful to others.
