Hi,
I've installed Cartaro + OpenGeo on Windows 7 64-bit machine. I'm able to load data from "cartaro" workspace but an error occurs when I click on Structure>GeoServer>Settings:

ERROR: Failed to get list of workspaces from GeoServer. See the log for details.

I've layers also in other workspaces: is it possible to load them although they are in different workspaces, not in "cartaro"?
And the GeoServer log (the last part of the file) is the following:

Hi,

looking at the filenames of the jars in the lines like

2014-03-31 16:14:39,693 DEBUG [geoserver.web] - cannot convert url: jar:file:/C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Boundless/OpenGeo/jetty/webapps/geoserver/WEB-INF/lib/web-core-2.4-SNAPSHOT.jar!/org/geoserver/web/css/geoserver.css to file (URI is not hierarchical), falling back to the inputstream for polling

implies that you are using geoserver2.4. Cartaro currently does not support Geoserver2.4 as there have been some changes to the authentication system.

Support for Geoserver2.4 is on its way and is currently in the testing stage before it gets released.

The code for the new geoserver-sec-drupal module is here:
https://github.com/geops/geoserver-sec-drupal/tree/geoserver-2.4
