So on my site I want to use the Mollom module's report abuse functionality in the forum to allow my members to report spam they see in the forum posts. It does not place the link on the first post in a topic. All subsequent posts get a "report" link but the very first is a problem for my site. I have spammers who will just post one large advertisement or other spam with no other posts to follow.

Is the first post a different form type/entity type from the rest (like a topic vs thread responses)?
What are you using to provide the forum capabilities?
