Hi,

I want to build a website using Drupal.

The website's once real functionality is Stock control - a checkIn/checkOut system using a barcode scanner.

The scenario is that we have a storeroom full of devices with barcodes on them and we would like to check them out to staff and then check them back into the storeroom?

Can anyone advise me?

I think the "Library" module may do the trick? Can anyone confirm?

with such little usage and seeking a new maintainer, I would be hesitant to use the library module. I'd be more comfortable creating similar functionality manually using views, flag, and rules as mentioned on the project page instead.
