Have I overlooked a Drupal.org issue queue? Probably more appropriate posted there but:

It would be great if a "Dependencies" required field (.link) was added to the Modules project add/edit form, so that one can quickly click to download each dependent module. Some module developers are better than others at including this information in the narrative. And, it is a real time-saver -- rather than have to install the module only to discover you need a dependency to even enable it.

Module developers rock! Thank you for your contributions!! (Not a PHP coder, but if I can be of service to you, do tell.)

I had a feeling there was a D6 module to do this, but I cannot find it. It is of course built into drush, so the motivation for writing is reduced, partlcularly given that generally the people who might write the module are already comfortable using command line and drush, and generally managing Drupal without drush is difficult in other ways too. Getting used to using drush is ultimately the easiest way, even though it does mean that users who are not accustomed to using command line may find that moving to using command line at first feels like a barrier.
