I try to downgrade from 2.0 back to 1.4. I have uninstalled media & file_entity. Then reinstalled the 1.4 release of Media.
run update.php, cleared cache.
But the site is broken:
Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'drupal_5.image_dimensions' doesn't exist:
Updated system and set schema_version to 7100.
Nothing helped.
I'd appreciate any help very much!

You'll need to disable and uninstall Media 7.x-2.x and then install Media 7.x-1.x from scratch.
