When the navbar is in vertical orientation, long names in the open list items can run under the right-side icon. See screenshot.

The attached patch takes into account the size of the handle specified in #navbar-administration .navbar-icon.navbar-handle and makes the padding for links specific to the list link rather than both the link and handle button.

This issue seems to be fixed in latest DEV. At least I see many long menu items that do not overrun.
