The release notes for alphas 2 and 3 say that there may be some loss of functionality from alpha 1. What exactly is lost? Is it better to update a live site to the dev? or is that dangerous, too? What is recommended?

the wysiwyg integration is pretty much broken in those versions..so if you use the media button in your wysiwyg i would advice to stick with alpha1 until alpha4 is out
