I have the role assignment feature configured to assign a certain role upon order "Completion" status. I have the rule configuration activated in Workflow-ng to update the order status to "Completion" once the payment is received (balance equal to or less than $0.00). I have a product created that has the product feature. I fumble through a test transaction of that product using WPS in the PayPal sandbox. I am returned to the "Order completed" screen and given a username and password. I check the order status and see that it is "Pending" still and no role assignment was ever made.

Help! I am going live very soon and need to get a successful test of Ubercart. Thanks!

Hi Wiseoz,

I'm also using Ubercart beta6 and don't have this problem. To configure it I went into:

Home » Administer » Store administration » Configuration » Product features » Role assignment settings

and set "Order status" to "Completed" and "Default role" to the appropriate role (on my site it's "full member").

I note that you mentioned activating the rule configuration in Workflow-ng. Interestingly, if I go into Workflow-ng I find that "Update order status on full payment" is listed under "Inactive configurations". Could this be your issue?

A couple of differences from your setup. First, I'm not using the option to create user accounts at checkout. Second, I'm using the test gateway option, rather than PayPal.

Hope this info at least provides some clues.

For further support on the issue, please check your order to make sure it actually received a payment (is the balance $0.00?) and doublecheck the Ubercart forums. The issue tracker here is for bugs, but this is a fairly common support request.

Is this the screen you're referring to (attached) ...?

If so, none of the orders show a zero balance. Is there a way to figure out whether the problem I've experiencing is Ubercart vs Workflow-ng?
