The title says it all. I haven't seen the "Drupal" name untranslated anywhere else. Here is a screenshot:

Gábor HojtsyI think the idea is this is a product name. You don't translate 'Windows' to your language even though it is a valid word in 'Firefox opened multiple windows' :)

herom CreditAttribution: herom commentedWell, we do translate product names too. Drupal is translated as "دروپال", and windows as "ویندوز" in Persian. Their pronunciation is still the same, but their writing is converted into the local alphabet, so someone who doesn't know English can still call it "Drupal".
Anyway, all the other cases of "Drupal" in sentences are already translated to the local writing, so I can also argue for consistency.

Gábor HojtsyOk, hm. Do we extract the distro name somehow for non-Drupal distros? Does that originate from an info.yml?
tstoecklerYes, if I am not mistaken that comes from
So in terms of statically parsing it, it's the same mess that *.links.menu.yml is :-) I think, so should be "doable".

1. Install anew drupal instance of version higher or equal to drupal 9.4.
2. before starting the installation process apply the latest patch.
3. once patch is applied continue to installation through browser.
4. during installation make sure the default language you choose should be different than english ( for example i choosed hindi )
5. throughout the installation process now you will see the product name drupal translated to different language as per you have chosen.

Drupal translating selected language.
suggestion:
*Standard
Install with commonly used features pre-configured.
*Minimal
Build a custom site without pre-configured functionality. Suitable for advanced users.
*Demo: Umami Food Magazine (Experimental)
Install an example site that shows off some of Drupal’s capabilities.
These installation steps also translate as per the selected language it looks good.
