I'd like to use this module to make a slideshow, but I can't figure it out. In another post, TrevorG provided some instructions, but they make no sense to me. Can someone help me with answers to these specific questions?

How, exactly, do I specify the images which go into my slideshow? I was able to create a view, but I can't figure out how to attach images to the view.

How do I view the slideshow as a page? I checked the "Provide Page View" box, and I can view the View from the editing tab, but I can't figure out how to put it, for instance, on my home page.

I've continued to do research on this, and I can now answer my own questions, (sort of).

First of all, to get images into the slideshow, you need to enable the Image module. That may be obvious to most people, but I never heard of the Image module before today, so it took me hours to figure this out. If anyone writes up documentation on the Views Slideshow, I highly recommend that you mention the necessity of the Image module.

As for my second question -- putting a slideshow on the home page -- I still don't have a clue how to do that. However, I now realize this is a question about Views in general, and not Views Slideshow in particular, so I'm going to post a support request under the Views module.
