When you try to add a component "select" to a webform and you submit the edit component "select" form, options are lost. The form complains that options are required.

I can't reproduce this problem. Steps:

- node/add/webform
- Add description and title
- Submit
- Enter 'select list' into name, select 'select' from component list, check mandatory.
- Click Add
- Add a few options

- Submit the form element

Everything works fine.
