happy to test this out for you if you can describe what kind of issues i might see...also wondering how hard it might be to alter to fluid and change width of right side column to make a bit wider...

Right now I'm working on converting over still - the page and node templates are getting there (demo at http://tarski.ceejayoz.com/) but there's still a lot to go - tab styling, admin UI, comments, etc. are all unfinished (and at times not started).

Fluid and width changes shouldn't be too difficult - the main problem would be that we provide a number of nice header designs with the WordPress version that are fixed-width. Cuts down a bit on the download-and-go nature, but probably worth it - Drupal seems designed for a wider theme. Could make it an option in the theme settings, I suppose.

it looks nice - i'll probably use it without the full header image, or rather, would prefer to see that as a block region such that a user could insert any width image (or ad banner) into the space....

and drupal definitely fits a wider theme (as do most modern machines and display setting defaults) - particularly since so many folks have right and left side blocks, needs to allow for a larger center column so that people can actually read what's on there ;)

Yeah, the intent behind the WP theme was as much customisability as possible, so I'll be moving things like the header and footer into blocks (with reasonable defaults so it looks nice out-of-the-box).

I am going to try to get Tarski to work in Drupal with the width of the WordPress version, for consistency's sake, but a wider version is definitely in order given the way Drupal works compared to WP. Not sure about two sidebars - as-is, it's set up pretty well to have left or right.

i hear you - could even be just fluid 70/30 for main and sidebar...or some spacing like 60/25 (percent) with padding...
