Hi.
I've installed your module on my test site and I can't seem to find where I would edit / add my signature. Not sure if this is a "blonde moment" on my part or... *grin*

You can get to this via the menu: My account -> Edit It's in exactly the same place as Drupal puts the signature form.

The solution for me:
Go to the UI in
http://example.com/admin/settings/signature_forum
Here, you have to enable almost one content type under:
"Show signatures with nodes and comments for"
Maybe this solve your prob
