Panels integration?

Hi,

Is it possible to integrate hypergraph with panels in such a way that you can present a hypergraph in one subpanel, and when you click the items, instead of opening popus, or redirecting, the next subpanel is updated with the node corresponding to the link?

This might be me just dreaming, and maybe asking for features that are yet not even available even for drupal in general. Thank you very much for this module, I will give it a try; it is a beauty.
