If a node can be viewed by anonymous users, it can be included in your site map.

  1. Go to http://www.example.com/?q=admin/build/modules and make sure XML Sitemap: Node is enabled.

  1. Configure the content priority section at http://www.example.com/?q=admin/settings/xmlsitemap. Priority is the relative importance of a link.

    Promotion adjustment
    A number to add to the priority of nodes that have been promoted to the front page.
    Comment ratio weight
    A number to add to the priority of the node with the most comments. The node with the fewest comments will not have its priority increased at all, and nodes in between will have their priority increased in proportion to the number of comments they have received.
    Count comments in change date and frequency
    Whether to include comments when determining the last update time and change frequency.
  2. Go to http://www.example.com/?q=admin/content/types to add or edit content types.

  1. Set the default priority for each content type.

  1. A content type will be excluded by default if you choose Not in site map as its default priority.

  1. Go to http://www.example.com/?q=admin/user/access and select roles which should be able to override the default node priority.

  1. Users in roles that have the override node priority permission can override the default priority when they create or edit a node.

  1. You can exclude an individual node from the site map by choosing Not in site map as its priority.
