I'm getting the following warnings when I create a new audio page:

* warning: array_unshift() [function.array-unshift]: The first argument should be an array in /var/www/html/includes/file.inc on line 552.

* warning: Missing argument 2 for file_validate_extensions() in /var/www/html/includes/file.inc on line 619.

When published, all of my content shows up, but there is no way to play the audio file that is attached. I'm also able to download the file. Just not play it.

I have the following related modules enabled: Token, Views, Audio, Audio Attach, Audio Playlist.

I've seen that error on my site, too, but haven't had the time to digg into it, yet.

Priority: Normal » Critical

No player for me neither - also, as admin, I get 'access denied' when trying to visit /admin/settings/audio/players. This is with the latest (June 10th) revision of the module.

This seems like a pretty basic function of the module, therefore I've upped it to 'critical'.

I have no error but i can't show flash player on attacched audio on 5.x-2.0-beta1 version.

I think it's when you create an audio content with the admin_menu module.
If you try to create content with the usual way the flash player appears

Thanks, after adding audio via create content and also selecting info in the audio file info section (under create audio) my player showed up.

Will this bug be fixed? Tried creating audio from Create Content and audio player still doesn't appear. I feature a band each week and need this module!

I too see no player in Firefox or Safari or IE.

Is there something as part of the installation that we didn't do or failed to do? I even redownloaded the player flash and another one to boot. I put them in the base module dir, the /players dir and a players dir off the module. Still nothing.

The download audio link is there and it works. I also created it with the standard user create menu option.

Using Drupal 6 if that matters.

There is no reference at all in the VIEW SOURCE to the xspf player or flash... no buttons added to play. Is there something that the USER needs to click on upload?

Also, I'd prefer to use this module to upload/play/distribute podcasts and not music/albums. Is there any easy way to change the fields that need to be entered or even their titles?

I'm having the exact same problem. Everything is functioning correctly but in the admin section there is no tab under Administer > Audio Settings to change the player and subsequently no player is showing up for the audio nodes.

Quick update to this... admin/settings/audio/players is giving me Access Denied. I'm user 1. The permissions look right in audio.module

I'm not really sure what to be looking for in audio.admin.inc that could be conflicting with 6.rc4

The only two tabs displaying in the admin audio section are Audio and Images

Also when creating a new view there are no options for any audio fields.

Looking at the code it seems there should be more tabs?

@chinafka
I didn't follow your posts/problem but have you tried deleting the audio folder and copying is to the server from scratch? I can remember that this did it for me a couple of months ago when I didn't have any admin section, too.

Audio works fine for me (as described above) on D6.4 and keeping audio up-to-date.

The things I'm missing, though, are views integration and I couldn't get theming to work.

Cheers.

I'm also missing views aside from the admin section. I did make a different issue though after this post describing my specific problem.

just installed the audio module together with the getid3 module on drupal 6.4

at first I didn't enable the getid3 module, and when importing audio files without this module the player wouldn't showup ...
so I deleted all the imported audio and installed the getid3 module with the latest getid3 stuff from sourcegforge
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=55859&package_id=5...

then I reimported some audio files and everything works as expected :-)

Great module !
also works fine in drupal 6.4 :-)

@jorisx I'm not sure what modules you have installed on your installation but I am still having issues. I have had the audio module uninstalled for a week or so and just installed with the latest versions of audio, getid3, and getid3 from sourceforge. I'm still getting this error when I go to submit a new audio post...

The following errors where encountered while reading the file's ID3 tags:

    * Could not open file ""

The module is also telling me that my mp3 is not compatible. Even though it is compatible, frequency and etc are all correct formats.
