(Alternative to Global hover breakout) click break out

Good day.

Firstly you made my day with this module, I've been trying to do this via theming views similar to the drupaldojo lesson 24 podcast (jQuery demo at the end of screen cast). This little ditty does exactly that :-O .

I am trying to achieve some thing similar to http://www.joeyl.com (go personal -> holey men) flash site. I have gotten 90% of the way there but I need the following.

- Global hover breakout option
- Global click break option (new)

I have attached screen shots of just how close I am to my goal. What I have done is in the css hidden the thumbnails div and added a bit of jQuery to the page to unhide them via a sliding button. You can have a look at a proof of concept here for that http://www.webdesignerwall.com/demo/jquery/simple-slide-panel.html . Once this div is displayed I want the user to click on the thumbnails to move to that specific one and carry on with the slide show from there.

I am sure that I can hack the module to achieve this but would really appreciate it if this could be added to the module.
