The Encyclopedia of Life is keenly interested in using Drupal to allow participants the opportunity to carve off branches from the tree of life to start biologically meaningful social interactions among like-minded individuals. To really make use of Drupal, we'd like to help improve the taxonomy module and we're also keen on developing several other modules to really make this work.

So, to kick-off our relationship with Drupal, we will be hosting a code sprint at the Field Museum in Chicago August 11-14. We realize this is really last-minute and the dates are getting close to the DrupalCon in Hungary, but please spread the word and also visit http://sprint.eol.org to see what we have in store for participants.
