Integrates CKEditor's Google Search plugin to Drupal. This enables Drupal's default WYSIWYG text editor capable of google searching the selected words.
This module uses the settings and features of native CKEditor Google Search Plugin plugin for the searching.
Requirements:
- Drupal 8.x
- CKEditor module (Core)
Installation:
- Download the module.
- Download Google Search library (https://ckeditor.com/cke4/addon/googlesearch) and place it in the root libraries folder (/libraries).
- Go to admin/modules and install the module.
- Go to admin/config/content/formats and configure the desired profile.
- Move Google Search button into the Active toolbar.
- Clear your browser's cache, and a new Google Search button will appear in your toolbar.
Use:
Select the word(s) in your WYSIWYG text editor and click on the Google Search icon in the toolbar, voila! a new Google search will open in a new tab of the selected words(s).
