The module adds the crossed eye icon when the password is not shown
When clicked, the eye opens and the password is visible

This is a lightweight, user-friendly module that allows a user to toggle between showing or hiding the entered password before submitting the form.

This module does not in any way display existing encrypted passwords from the database, but merely allows the user to display the entered password before submission as plain text via JavaScript.

Functionality

When installed, an icon of a crossed eye is added next to the password field on the log in form.
By toggling on the eye icon the password will be displayed or hidden.

Configuration

To enable this feature for any form, it needs to be configured on the configuration page of the module. This configuration can then be exported/imported.

#D8AX - I pledge to make this module as accessible as it can be. If you find any flaws, please submit an issue. Help me fix them if you can.

The 6.0.x branch is also Drupal 9/10 compatible, and new features are being added.
