Hi there,

I'm setting up a community site for art and fiction. While I think the ability for one user to quickly view all the images in a collection of images using Lightbox2 is excellent, this doesn't encourage them to comment on or rate the image.

Would it be possible to add a fivestar widget under the image being displayed in the lightbox, so that the user can rate an image and still navigate through the collection using Lightbox?

It might be possible to do already.

If using imagefield you can choose one of the "Lightbox iframe: xxx -> node page" display options. Then copy the page-node-lightbox2.tpl.php file (from lightbox2 dir) to your theme's directory and modify the layout as you need to there. It would mean that the fivestar widget would need to be available on the node page itself, and any other fields (body text, etc) would also appear in the lightbox.

Would that work for you? I'm not sure how feasible it is to do otherwise.

Cheers,
Stella

You know, I hadn't even considered Lightbox2's ability to render iframes! My experience with templates is limited; I'll try to tinker with it over the next week or so and get back to you on any progress. Thanks for looking into this!

Tried this since I need Fivestar and a comment link in the frame as well (and would like the body as my picture description in there anyway).

This seems not to work for me. I get a Picture not found symbol in the normal Frame if I copy the template and change the display as written above. Any Idea?
