off-canvas dialogmodal dialog

This module is intended to facilitate the editorial workflow and to simplify the work of the editors using Paragraphs.

The module allows your editors to add the most important Paragraphs in conjunction with "Add In Between" (provided by Paragraphs Features) to the page with a single click.

Furthermore, Paragraphs can be assigned to one or more categories so that they can be found more easily in the revised modal dialog.

Dependencies

Installation

Install as usual, see the documentation page about installing modules for further information.

To make use of the re-styled dialog, configure your Paragraphs widget to use the modal dialog for adding paragraphs to your content ("Add mode" -> "Modal form"). Enable the feature "Add in between" to see a better editor experience in the widget.

If you don't like a modal dialog you are also able to use the off-canvas dialog for the Paragraphs selection.

Module integrations

Paragraphs Sets
If you would like to use Paragraphs Sets in combination with Paragraphs Editor Enhancements you'll need to enable the sub-module Paragraphs Editor Enhancements for Paragraphs Sets. This requires at least version 8.x-2.1 of Paragraphs Sets.

Hints

To better identify paragraphs, you can upload an image for each paragraph type. With Paragraphs Editor Enhancements we provide a set of default images that you can use. These default images are located in the module directory in images/library.

Version 2.1.x is an intermediate release that works with Drupal 9 and Drupal 10. There may be a few bugs but it should work.

If you upgrade your site to Drupal 10, use version 10.x.
