Thank you for adding the feature. I tested the patch and basically it looks good to me. I have some requests for you so I created another issue #3085381.

The Drupal CI/CD system doesn't work for the 8.x-2.x automate testing, so I manually tested this patch as follows.

The tests for K8s have been passed successfully, so I'll merge the patch to 8.x-2.x and close this issue as Fixed.
