Problem/Motivation

When creating a new release for a contrib module, if a branch or tag with correct naming doesn't exist, an error box is presented with instructions on creating tags and branches. The presented text is unclear as it doesn't explain the different usage of tags and branches.

Branches are for dev releases and tags are for alpha, beta and stable releases etc.
