Currently, the drush search-api-solr:get-server-config command does not respect the --pipe global option of drush.
I propose a slightly modified syntax to this command, where it is legal to skip the filename parameter, as long as the --pipe option is provided.
This could be of use for automatic deployments, where the zip file could simple be provided as input to another command instead of having to manage the generated file. It also provides a simple way to generate the file outside of the site's filesystem, which can be of use on CI workflows.

mkalkbrennerIn order to directly extract the zip stream to files you have two options:
drush solr-gsc SERVER_NAME --pipe | tar -xf-
drush solr-gsc SERVER_NAME --pipe | jar x
AFAIK it is not possible to use
unzip
orgunzip
with a stream that contains multiple files.Comment #5
