Thank you @heddn, for all the work you have put into this project, it will help overcome a big hurdle for wider Drupal 8 adoption.

The NGOs and small and medium sized companies who have stayed on Drupal 7, because they don't have the resources for someone to take care of security updates on the day they are released, are much closer to be able to use Drupal 8.

I am looking forward to the future, when contrib modules can also be updated.
