I'm trying to create a release version 8.x-1.1 (tag). However, it gives the following error:
8.x releases for this project can not be made, since it has semantic versioned releases. See documentation on Drupal release versions
Branches:
- origin/1.x
- origin/8.x-1.x ( Default branch)
Tags:
- 8.x-1.0
- 8.x-1.1
Current release - It's not listing in project page

DamienMcKennaYou might try creating a new "1.0.x" branch, skip the "8.x-1.x" naming convention and go straight to semantic versioning, so the first release could then be "1.0.0".

Released "1.0.0".
How can I change name "1.0.0" to 8.x-1.1.
Please help me

DamienMcKennaYou don't need to, Drupal 8.8, 8.9 and 9.x sites can use modules and themes which use the new format.
Now you just need to opt into security coverage.
