I noticed that there are bunch of RTBC issues for both D7 and D8. What are the future plans for this module? Are there any plans for an official D8 / D9 release? Are there any plans to get the TB megamenu module covered under Drupal's advisory security policy?
My organization regularly uses this module and would like to apply to be co-maintainers of this module in order to continue to push it forward and make some much needed improvements and bug fixes.
We currently have a patch for the following issue: https://www.drupal.org/project/tb_megamenu/issues/3095820 and have additional updates we have made internally that we'd like to contribute back.
Update:
After the 14 day waiting period, we have moved this request to the Drupal.Org Project Ownership Issue Queue. On, or around, July 8th, we contacted the Project Owner about becoming a maintainer but have not received a response. We unfortunately did not select an email receipt when doing so.
On 7/23, we resent our PM to themebrain and a separate message to the maintainer, williampham on possibly becoming a maintainer or owner of TB Megamenu. Receipts were saved this time.

you are a co-maintainer of this module, so you do not have the permission to add additional maintainers. I suspect that the current owner (themebrain) and the only other maintainer (williampham) may have abandoned this project, so it really needs a new owner. If you want to become the owner of the project, I encourage you to follow the procedure for Dealing with unsupported (abandoned) projects (i.e. open up a new issue in the project's issue queue indicating that you want ownership transfer, PM the two maintainers, wait 14 days and if there is no replay from any of them, move it here to be processed by the web masters). If you're not interested in being the project's owner, I shall appreciate if you also make that clear.

please note that the procedure linked to above says that before the webmasters can handle the issue, you must have sent a PM to the project's owner via the Contact link on the user profile page. Please do so and add the missing information (who you sent it to and when) to the issue summary. I am postponing further processing of this request until this information is in place.

We sent a PM to the project owner, on (or around) July 8th however, I did not check the "Send yourself a copy" option when sending the message unfortunately. I am happy to do that again if just taking my word for it is not good enough.
Also, while my organization's request is to become a maintainer, we would be just as happy to become a project owner should cgmonroe opt out.
