Decoupled Menus Meeting 2021-07-13

Hello and welcome to the 14:00z Decoupled menus initiative meeting. Our project is located here: https://www.drupal.org/project/decoupled_menus_initiative
This meeting:
➤ Is for everyone that is interested in topics around decoupled menus, APIs, javascript frameworks and much more.
➤ Usually happens every Tuesday at 14:00 UTC and again at 4:00 UTC (12 hours later)
➤ Is done over chat.
➤ Happens in threads, which you can follow to be notified of new replies even if you don’t comment in the thread. You may also join the meeting later and participate asynchronously!
➤ Has a public agenda anyone can add to: should have … will be next time)
➤ Transcript will be exported and posted to the agenda issue. For anonymous comments, start with a :bust_in_silhouette: emoji. To take a comment or thread off the record, start with a :no_entry_sign: emoji

:two: Proposing changing meeting frequency to every other week

It is quiet around here :slightly_smiling_face: I'm hoping that will start changing, but regardless I think following the lead of some of the other initiatives and adjusting this meeting to run every other week would be a good idea. We can always talk in this channel as needed.

I usually keep an eye on what’s going on, but since it is menus with a focus on Web (see previous discussion between me and Gabe :see_no_evil: ) and JSON API, I don’t have much input. At Open Social we’re working on the first content parts and menus is probably going to be a concern for future us :blush:
Once focus moves on to content (and/or GraphQL) I’m game! :grimacing:

On the web components side of things, I'm struggling a bit with moving the testing issue forward. Could use some help debugging testing the shadow dom if someone has time to take a look: https://www.drupal.org/project/gdwc/issues/3203867
