Problem/Motivation

Exporting content with translations, then importing content from the non-standard language environment displays an error message if the content with translation already exists.

Steps to reproduce

1. Set up a Drupal site with multiple languages.
2. Create a piece of content.
3. Translate that content in your second language.
4. Export the content with 'Include translations?' option checked, from your non-standard language environment (e.g. if you have a site in English and Dutch, import from the url with nl/ prefix)
5. Import the content
6. You will get an error saying 'A translation already exists for the specified language (nl).'

Workaround

You can delete the content you are trying to import in your site, and it will be able to add the correct pieces of content
