hestenet (he/him) ping: @mixologic @FeyP @jurgenhaas (go to the issue of the next meeting to add or remove yourself from the list)

1️⃣ Do you have any topics to propose for the meeting today? Feel free to propose them in this thread, and then I will give them their own unique threads for discussion. Conversation moving slow? Go ahead and open your own thread in the next numeric order.

2️⃣ Our self-hosted GitLab instance has been updated to version 15.1 (we jumped all the way from 14.10)You can learn what was added in 15.0: https://about.gitlab.com/releases/2022/05/22/gitlab-15-0-released/And in 15.1: https://about.gitlab.com/releases/2022/06/22/gitlab-15-1-released/(edited)

hestenet (he/him) The next versions of GitLab don't support our version of debian, so we have an OS-level upgrade coming up in the next months
hestenet (he/him) @saschaeggi - any highlights in these two versions you'd like to make people aware of?
drumm Plus we’ve unlocked the need to upgrade Postgres & Elastic in the next few months.

3️⃣ We've been troubleshooting the issue with the GitLab runner configuration, causing pods to timeout, or disconnect in mid-run. #3277265: Pods go away randomly while running phpunit@mixologic has updated the helm chart to the latest version of gitlab runner, and reset its timeout to 6 min from 3min, and changed the poll interval to 30s from 3s.We'll have to keep monitoring to be sure this resolves the issue.

hestenet (he/him) @mixologic Any more to add here?
mixologic Yeah, this will save the jobs that werent starting on time. There are still jobs that seem to be getting terminated before gitlab has finished collecting all the data it needs, so I think thats a gitlab bug/setting to check for.
crasx If this continues to be an issue I'd be happy to poke. Do we have an example project we use to debug/play with stuff like this?
Brad Jones @mixologic Thank you for #3277265: Pods go away randomly while running phpunit#comment-14606507 - I'll report any additional/new issues, but y'all were great for jumping on this.
mixologic Yeah, I think we got this fixed.  A problematic confluence of spot requests in an autoscaling group backing k8s nodegroups.

4️⃣ Last week @irinaz worked with Drew from GitLab and there is now a merge request open to add per-project CI/CD minute limits - which is a blocker to the general availability of GitLabCI to all projects:  https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/351147#note_1012502864       https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/merge_requests/91519(edited)

hestenet (he/him) We're going to continue to work closely with @Nick_vh and others to try and get this committed into a near-term release.
Nick_vh For sure!
larowlan awesome

5️⃣ @fjgarlin has started the work to migrate entity references to issues to links, and we're identifying places where that will impact existing workflows, such as the 'related issues' on change notifications and the associated views.#3265097: Remove/replace issue integration with the rest of www.drupal.org

hestenet (he/him) Note the child issues

6️⃣ @fjgarlin has also started work on a custom module to handle per-project migration of Drupal.org issues to GitLab. This is still very early with lots of work to go.[#3295357]Thanks to @moshe for the initial example from Drupal Spoons migration script.

fjgarlin It was a great foundation!!
crasx haaa I commented on the wrong issue, but code looks like its coming along great! (edited)
