After attempting to install on Drupal 5.12, this is the error that shows. The site is totally inaccessible as well - only this error is visible:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting ')' in /folder/folder2/public_html/folder3/sites/all/modules/uc_discounts/uc_discounts.module on line 733

I tried the main /modules folder as well.

Is this some basic php that I'm missing? I can't imagine that a module would be released that couldn't be installed.
