MichelleShould have said something on IRC. I didn't know you were looking for a maintainer. This module is essential for people who want flat forums. I haven't even looked at the code yet and should do that before volunteering but I won't let it get abandoned. Unless someone steps up before the end of the year, I'll take it in January.

Michelle@dragonwize - If you want it, go for it. January is almost over and I still don't have time.

Heine CreditAttribution: Heine commentedThanks, from now on dragonwize is the project owner. Who knew such a small bit of concept code would get used :)

MichelleHeine: it's a very important module. It gets very confusing when the flatness of the forum is just an illusion and you have people deleting comments and wiping out whole bits. Or some comments being editable and some not. I consider it essential if you run a flat forum and I'm glad someone stepped up to take care of it. :)

@Michelle: I gave you CVS access so feel free to help out if you get time. I have a few usability improvements I think can be made but other than that I think this module is great as a really small module so I don't plan to add a bunch of features. I am also considering either creating a patch to include flatcomments functionality in D7 or help push a patch along if there is one already.

Michelle@dragonwize: Thanks for the access but I prefer to add via the issue queue if something comes up. I don't feel comfortable committing directly to someone else's module.
