Hi Guys:
The weather module worked on my site 3 days before. But at the latest 3 days the "Weather: location of nodes (requires Location module)" block wont work to show the weather data for a location. I have re-installed on a new server, the bugs appears also.

Would you kind to check and fix it?

Thanks,
Tom

Does a normal system-wide weather block work? Can you access weather.noaa.gov?

Hi Toddy:
Thanks a lot for your kind reply.
system-wide weather block works fine and I can access weather.noaa.gov site.

I dont know what is wrong with location of nodes (requires Location module) block which it works fine several days ago.

Thanks,
Tom

Did you update your Location module before the block broke? They had an API change recently, which was incompatible with the way Weather accesses the data. For me, the latest release of Location works with Weather.

I'm having this same problem but with version 6.x. Should I open a new issue for this?
The system wide block works fine but it's not displaying anything when used with a location node.

Hi all!
Why is this issue "closed"? I have the same problem: system-wide block ok, location of nodes does not appear...
I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong, since there doesn't seem to be much explanation on customizing or managing...

I understand you just have to install the module and assign it to a block, that's it. Also no translation. Is that included/automatic or do I have to make the translations myself? Did I miss anything?
Using location 6.x-3.1-RC1

Thanks

I'm having the same problem. On all pages where weather block enabled, shows message "Download location for METAR data is not accessible." alert in pink box at top, and block shows question mark graphic with "No data".

This was previously working fine, problem showed up a couple weeks ago. Had to turn off block for now.

I seem to be seeing this (#12, metar data message) more and more often as well but it's strange. It seems to only happen in Google Chrome, when I look at the same node in another browser the data is there and what's more strange is that after I load the node in another browser and then look again in Chrome it's fine. Perhaps this is a separate issue completely though and I think it's being discussed here http://drupal.org/node/838280 .

@jusyjim

Not sure if you have resolved this for your site yet, but I was experiencing what I think you are describing. For me it was impacting anonymous users only. The solution was to disable the block cache feature in admin - site configuration - performance. Since making that change, the location block displays without issue.

Thanks,

Dennis

Hi,

this should be fixed in weather 6.x-5.17.

Is it possible to use a weather module that provides the current weather in a certain part of Germany?
Thanks!

Please do not hijack an issue for your question, but open a new issue. Thanks.
