I'm trying to check if I'm putting TinyMCE in the right location (I currently have it in modules/wysiwyg/tinymce). The project pages says to put this in the modules folder but historically I believe the instructions were to put this where I show above. Your README states: >>> Go to Administer > Site configuration > Wysiwyg, and follow the displayed installation instructions to download and install one of the supported editors

Yet when I go there (I presume you are staying to do this within my own drupal installation) all I see is the Wysiwyg profile page. I have two profiles. Alternatively I have tried entering admin/settings/wysiwyg as a URL but that just brings up the default Site Configuration list.

When I create a profile the module does show under Basic Setup, TinyMCE 2.1.3 as the editor option, but no instructions to be sure I did this right.

Well, if the editor version is displayed, then you apparently did everything correctly.

The README states that you should visit the admin/settings/wysiwyg and follow the installation instructions there. Those appear if there is no editor folder (f.e. "tinymce") in the module's directory yet.
