hey there,
running D5.14, I've saved a copy of TinyMCE with some plugins: youtube button, drupalbreak and blockquote.
these don't show up properly on the WYSIWYG profile configuration neither on the editor, though they do appear under TinyMCE profiles.
I understand TinyMCE has a huge amount of files and some uploads might not have worked, so I double-checked (in fact, make that "triple-checked", lol).
hope this info helps; I'll be glad to test any fixes.
regards,
Luciano

sunThe youtube plugin is most probably an externally hosted TinyMCE plugin.
The drupalbreak plugin is not really needed, a cross-editor compatible version will be available when the plugin API has been rewritten.
The blockquote plugin should actually be part of TinyMCE's default buttons (please check your wysiwyg profile; also might have been added/fixed after 0.5 was released [consult the CHANGELOG.txt]).
Hence, marking as duplicate of #319363: Rewrite editor plugin API and #287321: Add wysiwyg_external_plugins module.
