I've configured my taxonomy, tags, to be of the "Localize terms. Terms are common for all languages, but their name and description may be localized."-type.

After creating 300+ nodes and starting the translation process I notice that the admin/build/translate/table/taxonomy form only shows 6 items to translate, while there are a lot more terms in use on the site.

It does work on some test installations I did, though, but often not at once, it seems like there are nothing to translate, and then suddenly when I try again, there are more to translate.

But on the site I'm working on now it is problematic, no more terms show up from any vocabulary. One note, it is an upgraded 5.x site, so it contains a lot of previously translated terms in the tags-taxonomy.

The interface is super, though.

I think you have to enable the taxonomy translation (i18ntaxonomy) module, and re-save every term which does not show up in the translation form.

This module works only with taxonomy terms in the locales_source table. It only modifies the translations, never modifies the source string.
