Hi,

I am not sure if this would be appropriate for this module, but could an option be added to not exclude page caching entirely but to cache the page only x minutes. This option could be used for pages that are not that critical to have the most up to date information, eg. http://drupal.org/node/220770 . For me, I have a module showing information that gets updated every 15 minutes on the front page. Obviously it doesn't get updated with page caching enabled.

We see this as outside the scope of the features we are trying to implement. Consequently, we aren't planning on adding this feature.

If somebody takes on the task of writing a patch, we would consider the patch.
