Thanks for this great module, but there is one thing which makes it hard to put it on a busy site:

When the node gallery permission module is enabled, Drupal 6 is disabling its block caching because
the changed permissions.

That removes the only noticable caching of drupal for logged-in users.

Is there a way to overcome that?

What parts must be disabled of the node gallery permissions to make the caching enabled again?
Is there a way to patch the core?

There are some critical issues with the node gallery permissions module. I'm currently trying to clean it up, but it seems best to leave it disabled for now.
