I'm a noobie to both Drupal and AD Novus theme. I've looked everywhere I can think of, but can't figure out how to get rid of the 'logo.png' graphic in the theme. Where is it referenced?

Just disable it on the themes settings page in admin->themes->ad novus (in the table)->configure.
