Hi everybody,
my guestbook (rscjumping.be/gastenboek) is overloaded with spam
This is an example:
[Removed links to porn and pharma spam]
The title is always the same, but with another number.
Is there a way to block this?
Thanks,
Lukas

sunYou might use Spam module or CAPTCHA module or Mollom to protect your site.

sgprs CreditAttribution: sgprs commentedJust ditch your current guestbook module. Then grab the "Guestbook" module here: www.drupal.org/project/guestbook
Once you get it installed and configured, go to CAPTCHA's settings, you can enable an option that adds an administrative link to all forms and thus allows to enable or disable CAPTCHA support on each form. Just visit a guestbook then, enable CAPTCHA for that form, and you're done.
This is provider by the module admin and it works percectly.
Once you do this, go to your guestbook. You will see a drop-down link called CAPTCHA. There you can select which type of CAPTCHA you can use.
Hope this helps!

sgprs CreditAttribution: sgprs commentedHi Lubas,
Were you able to get it to work? I just suggested using the Guestbook module by Sun because it's what I use and it works beautifully. I also use CAPTCHA. Together, they work perfectly. No more spam for me.
If you are still having trouble, lt me know and I can help.
Chris
